THE ROAR OF SILENCE - III

THE ROAR OF SILENCE - III
My mated soul now digs me down,
Her hardcore heart left me to drown.
I'm knowing now her trust in me,
That's slowly sneaking blue to brown.

That hindered me all the time,
It's teaching me not to claim.
Forlorn facts to clap my dream,
Haunted thoughts to tap my gleam.

Sorrow clusters around my soul.
Deep under my feelings howl.
To join her back on the journey jog,
Like a flaming match on a frozen fog.

I'm mad enough to moan in the night,
The glaring grief that fades my sight.
On a cornered lawn with a drying lash,
With flickering fingers a ballad bash.

The one I need for a life to lead.
Led me out to trash my creed.
With a burning heart I'm sinking now,
To scream aloud for my vanishing love.

Dreaming deep for the depressed heart,
Asking her for an eternal depart.
She caused my span a fatal fall,
Wish to hear from her a call.....

The third version of that old 'THE ROAR OF SILENCE'.
